The time has come!
After a wonderful Easter in lansing with my family and a year of waiting, I will be leaving tomorrow for Guatemala. Unfortunately being confined to the US for 48 more hours leaves me with little to say besides some factual details. I will be leaving for Philadelphia pre-service training tomorrow morning, arriving around noon, spending the night there after some training activities, and then leaving for Guatemala on Wednesday. I might not have internet access for a bit, but I will certainly find it sometime soon after my arrival in-country in a town in the highlands somewhere between Guatemala City and Antigua. I hope to have some enlightening and thrilling observations of my surroundings ready at that point, as well as more details about training.
